Wiki Rules

• You must get approved and added to #wiki before editing.

• Do not purposely update the wiki with false information, doing so will result in your privileges being taken away.

• Do not make any major changes without asking first, minor changes/adding information is okay, but completely changing the layout of a page or category is not.

WSG Rules

These rules may change at any time. When changed, users will be prompted to accept again to prevent failure of reading rule changes.

Game Rules

These rules apply to the entire game.

• Do not use cheats of any kind.

• Keep the nicknames of Pokemon clean.

• Sharing accounts with another person is NOT allowed.

• Multi-browsing/windowing/tabbing is NOT allowed.

• The use of ANY program or method that gives you an advantage over other users is NOT allowed.
  • Yes, backspacing is ONE of these methods that are NOT allowed.
  • The battle system has a "Continue"/"Restart Battle" link for a reason. If this link is skipped in any way during battling to speed up the battle, a ban will most likely follow.
  • Just to make it clear, this DOES involve any form of macro.
  • Using browser extensions to modify the behavior / looks of the site is not allowed. If you wish to create a new theme for WSG, you're allowed to do so, as long as this rule is not broken.
  • If you make a new theme, there's a chance we'll even make it an official theme! Contact Calairiel in that case.

• Creating multiple accounts just for the sake of getting multiple promos is NOT allowed. (It's not allowed in general)
  • This includes asking your friends to sign up, trade you the promo and then leave again.

Sibling Accounts

• If you require a multiple account for a sibling, a staffmember should be contacted. If this isn't done, you risk a ban.
  • Training accounts may be created but ONLY with permission of a staff member. Further explanation will be sent after contacting one.
  • If an account is confirmed as sibling, traded may not happen between these accounts.

• Setting up any form of program to refresh a page with a referral to gain playtime to give the referrer points will result into a permanent ban, possibly for the referrer as well.

• The weekly contests disallow you from winning twice in a row for a reason. Any attempt to monopolise these contests is not allowed. This includes taking turns as well as helping specific people stay ahead of others.

Communication Rules

These rules apply to the entire Forum, the chat, the personal message, the mailbox, signatures and the Clan Boards.

• Do NOT Swear.

• Do not start any fight in any way or form. If you do, you'll be the only who's held responsible for it.

• Do not use any racial terms that may offend people.

• Only post in the forum your thread fits best in. IE: Don't post anything about trades in the Graphics Discussion etc.

• Never post any mature or inappropriate content.

• Do not advertise any other websites.

• One-word posts are not wanted. There's no need to reply with stuff such as 'lol'.

• Double-posting (or multi-posting) is not allowed in most cases.

• Yes, WSG has BB code to support YouTube videos. But these are ONLY allowed in Chit Chat.

• Do not post any messages or titles in full caps.

• Begging is not allowed, anywhere. It's not allowed on the forum, the chat and private messages. If we get a report on a user begging through PMs, we will investigate it and temp ban for it.

• Do not ask a user to trade any of their Pokemon unless they state they're for trade.

• When something happens outside the forum, it should remain 'outside the forum'. When a user posts a thread about something that happened outside the forum, a warning and/or temp-ban will follow for this user.
  • This applies to every public form of communication on WSG (for example: Chat, signatures, personal message and Clan Boards)

Forum Section Rules

These rules only apply to certain sections.

Trades Section

• Intersite trading is NOT allowed. If you're caught, you'll get banned from WSG and possibly banned from the game you traded to if they do not allow it as well.

• If you're told to stop posting in a thread by the thread poster, respect their decision and stop posting in it.

• Respect other people for their decision on offering/trading. Do not insult them when they make a "stupid" offer.

• Do not post stuff you're not trading. It's the trades section, not the show-off section.

• You're limited to having ONE active topic at once. More active topics will simply be deleted. If you want to trade something new, don't make a new topic, but update your own one and bump it with the updates.

• Do not bump your own thread when it is still on the first page.

• You may only bump once every 2 hours IF your thread is NOT on the first page.

• A post stating "what you updated in your thread" is equal to a bump. This means above rules apply to these posts.

• If you offer, make sure you have the Pokemon and/or money available to trade. Trading off stuff that you offered somewhere else is not only rude, but may also lead to problems when the other person decides to accept your offer.
  • So if you trade stuff away that you offered somewhere else, let the other person know about it by canceling your offer.
  • If you agree to a trade, you are expected to go through with it. If you have any doubts about the trade, tell the person before you agree to it.

User Contests Section

• This forum is for contests only. Any other topics not related to the former will be deleted and the creator might be subject to a forum ban.

• Scamming is not allowed. If it is discovered that you scammed someone, you'll be subjected to a forum ban. If severe enough, RPG ban.

• Contests such as "The 100th poster wins" are not allowed. This will just cause unnecessary useless spam posts.

User Guides Section

• These guides must be helpful/relevant to the forum/game.

Clan Section Rules

• Your clan can only have ONE thread in this section.

• This is not a chit-chat section.

Graphics Section

• Posting graphics without the permission of the creator is NOT allowed.

Certain Functions

These rules only apply to certain functions of the game/forum.

Reporting Posts

• This function should ONLY be used when a post is breaking any of the rules stated in here.

• If there's several posts in the same thread that break a rule, report ONE post. The staff will notice the others.

• This is NOT a reply button.
