Background
The island of Alola is guarded by a boss named the Pillager of Light - also known as Necrozma. Necrozma obsorbs the light of the island and scares off all of the Pokémon inhabiting it, so in order to enter the island and catch Pokémon, you must defeat Necrozma.
- Once Necrozma is defeated, he falls into a deep sleep, but it is important to note that he always wakes up on Sunday.
- Every time that Necrozma is defeated, only 10 unique Pokémon are brave enough to come out of hiding - therefore, there will never be all 31 Alolan Pokémon on the map at once.
