Mystery Puzzle

The Mystery Puzzle is a site wide puzzle that can be contributed to by completing battles or searching the maps. Once the puzzle is complete, it offers various rewards for the hour after it is completed.

Occasionally, on special events, Calairiel will decide to give everyone a bonus as if they had completed the puzzle. This will usually last for a weekend or sometimes longer.

Personal Battle Contribution

By completing battles, you help complete the puzzle. If your personal battle contribution reaches 100%, then after the puzzle is complete you can be rewarded with a bonus of an exp multiplier. This multiplier can be anywhere from x1.1 to x1.5.

Personal Maps Contribution

By searching maps, clicking on map events, and catching Pokémon, you help complete the puzzle. If your personal maps contribution reaches 100%, then after the puzzle is complete you can be rewarded with higher shiny chance.

You are also rewarded with a chance at finding ShinySnivy, ShinyTepig, or ShinyOshawott on any map. However, only one is released each Mystery Puzzle, so after one is caught you have to wait until the next puzzle is completed for the next shiny starter to be on the maps.
