April Fool's Event
On April 1st, 2017, Calairiel made a news post saying that there were some players who figured out the passwords of others and stole their Pokémon. Calairiel stated that any person who stole Pokémon had their box locked for the time being.
In reality, every player that logged on that day had their box locked.
As compensation for having your boxed locked and being tricked into thinking you were in trouble, each player was told that they would be awarded a Rayquaza. Upon checking your box, you did not find a Rayquaza, but instead this:
